Hungarian, Slovak defence ministers discuss V4, bilateral cooperation
Hungarian Defence Minister István Simicskó discussed with his Slovak counterpart Péter Gajdos security challenges posed by migration to Europe, and prospective defence cooperation within the Visegrád Four (V4) grouping and between the two countries, in Bratislava on Thursday.
They also discussed possibilities of cooperation in army development and air defence.
The regional cooperation of the V4 grouping formed by the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia rests on solid common values and can serve as a model for western Europe, and the world, Simicskó told reporters after the meeting.
He praised existing Hungarian-Slovak defence cooperation for its high standards and called cooperation among the V4 countries exemplary.
