Repulsive: Hungarian university responds after controversial ‘Sex Points’ post surfaces from freshman camp

A closed-group post tied to this year’s freshman camp at the University of Public Service (Nemzeti Közszolgálati Egyetem, NKE) has sparked significant backlash after it claimed participants could earn points for engaging in various sexual activities.
Scandalous screenshot emerges from a closed group
A screenshot of the post listed point values for activities such as “sex with a freshman” (200 points), “sex with a mentor/organizer” (250 points), and even “sex with the Student Union president” (500 points). At the bottom of the post, it noted that the “best freshman” could win a mascot and a free lunch.
The institute responded immediately. According to Telex, the NKE’s Press Office emphasized that the post was made by a student who is neither a member of the University Student Union nor an official organizer of the freshman camp, and therefore had no authority to influence the camp’s program or speak on its behalf.
Sexual activities for made up points, the university took action
In its official statement, the university clarified that the post does not reflect the official program or values of the institution. “Both the University of Public Service and its Student Union place a high priority on protecting the human dignity of university citizens and categorically reject such behaviors,” the statement read.
According to a report by HVG, the university took swift and firm action: the student responsible for the post, along with others who shared it, were sent home during the camp on Tuesday. An in-depth investigation has been launched to clarify the incident. The university stated that the inquiry is ongoing and promised to take necessary action against any additional individuals involved.
