Patricius Borház’s Profundum Furmint 2022 won the gold medal.

According to a statement from the winery, the 2022 Profundum Furmint has elegant, fruity and mineral notes thanks to its eight-month oak barrel ageing. The lot is characterised by a creamy body, round acidity and mild spicy flavours, with a tannic, long finish thanks to the use of barrels.
“Profundum Furmint is one of our top wines, offering consumers a unique experience thanks to the selected harvest and oak barrel ageing. We are very proud that our latest vintage has won such prestigious recognition. I think it is important that this award also raises the international reputation and visibility of the Tokaj wine region,” said Péter Molnár, Estate Manager of Patricius Borház.
