Hungary construction sector output growth slows to 0.2 pc in July
Budapest, September 16 (MTI) – Hungarian construction sector output edged up an annual 0.2 percent in July, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Wednesday.
The July increase decelerated from a 10.2 percent growth rate in the preceding month.
Output of the buildings segment declined by 0.5 percent in July and output of the civil engineering segment was up 0.9 percent.
In absolute terms, construction sector output was worth 179.8 billion forints.
Output fell by 3 percent compared with the previous month in seasonally and working-day-adjusted terms.
