Hungary does not recognise the annexation of Ukrainian territories
In support of the common EU position, Hungary does not recognise the annexation of Ukrainian territories.
Gergely Gulyás, the PM’s chief of staff said at yesterday’s Cabinet Briefing that Hungary does not recognise the annexation of the four Ukrainian territories. He said that the only solution to the situation in line with international law would be for the Russians to withdraw from Ukraine, szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu writes.
However, Gulyás was unable to answer the question of what Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó discussed with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at their recent meeting. Gulyás said that dialogue is the key to peace in Ukraine.

Maybe not today, but when Orban sends little Peti to the Kremlin for more gas that’s when Putin will tell him to recognise the annexation.
