Insanely popular Hungarian festival named one of the world’s top 10 music festivals for 2025!

Ozora Festival has been named one of the top ten music festivals of 2025 by TNT Magazine—a major international nod for the Hungarian-born event. The psychedelic electronic music festival, held annually in late July through early August in Dádpuszta near Ozora, has become a mecca for fans of the genre worldwide.

Why did Ozora make the list?

According to TNT Magazine, Ozora is much more than just a music event—it’s a profound experience grounded in psychedelic culture. What sets it apart is its exclusive focus on the psy-trance genre, unapologetically diverging from mainstream tastes and musical diversity. The festival is dominated by relentlessly pulsing basslines, acid-influenced soundscapes, and a hypnotic, visual universe.

Attendees don’t come just for the music—tens of thousands of visitors step into an alternative reality filled with yoga sessions, art performances, lectures, and spiritual programs. According to TNT, Ozora is not simply a party, but rather a “psychedelic transformation,” where the sense of community is just as important as the music itself.

TNT’s top 10 for 2025: A brief overview

Ozora was the only Central European festival to make the cut, but the rest of the list also includes noteworthy events. Ranked tenth is the UK’s Camp Bestival, known for its fairytale setting and family-friendly vibe. The lineup also features France’s Hell Fest, a pilgrimage site for metal and rock fans, and South Facing, a modern urban festival in London.

Reggae enthusiasts can head to Reggae Land in Milton Keynes, while Portugal’s NOS Alive draws crowds with headliners like Olivia Rodrigo, Muse, and Nine Inch Nails. Jazz, funk, and soul lovers will appreciate the UK’s Love Supreme, which features acts such as The Roots and Nile Rodgers & Chic.

Boomtown in the UK caters to the rave scene with over-the-top visuals and powerful drum & bass sets, while Beatherder and Mucky Weekender offer smaller, more intimate events that create unforgettable communal vibes.

What makes Ozora stand out?

According to TNT’s review, Ozora is a true original—a festival that devotes itself entirely to the psychedelic experience. There are no chart-toppers or radio-friendly tracks here. The essence lies in deep trance journeys, altered states of consciousness, and overwhelming visual stimulation. What makes the event special is its total rejection of commercial trends, forming a fully autonomous, otherworldly space beyond time and place.

This unwavering concept and intense atmosphere are what set Ozora apart from festivals around the globe. It’s no coincidence that it’s the only event of its kind on TNT’s list. The experience is so immersive that it can leave you “in a trance for days”—and not just figuratively speaking.
