Hungary military training aircraft crashes
Budapest (MTI) – A training aircraft of the Hungarian military crash landed on Thursday, the defence ministry reported.

The Jak-52 aircraft caught fire towards the end of a training exercise shortly after noon, Chief of General Staff Tibor Benko told a press conference. He said the pilots managed to leave the aircraft after landing, but one of them suffered severe burns. The pilot is being treated in hospital, Benko said.
Benko did not elaborate on the extent of the pilot’s injuries or a timetable for his recovery.
He added that the fire was put out by firefighters.
