Hungary Offers Concrete Help In Malaysia Airlines Jet Crash Investigation
(MTI) – Hungary has offered concrete help in the investigation connected to the crash of a Malaysia Airlines jet in eastern Ukraine, the foreign affairs spokeswoman said on Friday.
Anna Nagy said the ministry had contacted Dutch ambassador in Budapest Hugo Gajus Scheltema and Hungary’s foreign representative office in The Hague contacted the Dutch foreign ministry to offer help in the areas of flight safety, crime scene investigation and laboratory tests.
The Boeing 777 was on its way from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur with 298 people aboard when it crashed in Donetsk county, amid allegations of a missile attack.
There were no Hungarian citizens among the victims of the Malaysia Airlines jet crash, the Hungarian foreign affairs spokeswoman said, citing information by the Dutch foreign ministry on Friday.
