Hungary is the ‘safest part’ in Europe, the Hungarian government believes
Central Europe, including Hungary, is “the safest part of the continent”, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said on Facebook on Saturday.
The minister insisted that “recently only those have denied that fact for whom it was extremely inconvenient”. “But this week reality came across,” he said referring to “openly raging anti-Semitism” in the Netherlands when “Israeli football fans were “being chased” in the street.
“Just think of the statements the cawing liberal mainstream could have made … should developments ten times less serious had happened in the central part of Europe!” the minister suggested.
Szijjártó noted that Israel’s national eleven had chosen Hungary as a safe country to play in. “The situation is clear: western Europe has been flooded by migrants but Hungary will not be their destination; here is another proof that we have been correct.”

Well, the israel fans started the problem in the streets there by yelling hate speach. If sijjarto says this kind kf things, it is maybe because he is going to allow such behaviors in Hungary, oh but if you say something against jews, then you are anti semitic. The Hungarian “comon sense”….
I really would like to know why some people says israel is “an ally” to the west. They are just creating problems
As an openly identifiable Jew who lives in Budapest but travels frequently throughout the world (including W Europe and the USA), I agree with this statement. We respect and appreciate Hungarians and Hungarian culture and feel that we are afforded the same respect in return. In other major Western cities, we are experiencing a clear decline in security of the general population, and more pronounced, that of Jews and Israelis. As more and more individuals who despise the West and it’s values have slowly migrated and begun increasing in numbers, we are all threatened.
I pray the rest of the the West will wake up too.
