Hungary to apply for hosting 2025 Universiade
Hungary will submit a bid for hosting the 2025 Universiade, or World University Games, the state secretary for sports said on Wednesday.
Tünde Szabó told public news channel M1 that all facilities required for one of the biggest multi-sport championships of the world to be in place by that time.
Hungarian athletes have won 120 gold, 95 silver and 112 bronze medals in the 29 World University Games held since 1959.
