Hungary to host 2027 World Women’s Handball Championship

Hungary has been selected as the host country for the 2027 World Women’s Handball Championship, the Hungarian association said on its Facebook page on Friday.

The decision has been made at the International Handball Federation (IHF) council meeting in Cairo, it added.

The 32 teams are planned to play matches in the cities of Budapest, Debrecen, Győr and Tatabánya.
