(MTI) – Hungary plans to expand its network of trade houses to 25 countries by the end of this year, state secretary for foreign affairs and trade Peter Szijjarto said on Tuesday.
Speaking at a meeting for foreign trade association MKSZ, Szijjarto said the network would raise Hungarian SMEs’ contribution to the country’s exports and economic growth.
He noted the government’s plan to follow an economy-based foreign policy in the next cycle.
The state-owned Hungarian National Trade House Company (MNKH) has trade houses in Astana, Baku, Moscow, Beijing and Abu Dhabi.
