Hungary-US business forum to meet in July
Budapest, May 18 (MTI) – The Hungarian-US Business Council will hold a meeting in Budapest in July, the organisation’s president, Eric Stewart, told public news channel M1 on Wednesday.
US and Hungarian companies from a wide range of sectors will participate in the meeting, which aims to establish “high-level dialogue between US company executives and the Hungarian government”. There are untapped opportunities in Hungary for US firms in the areas of tourism, defence, innovation, life sciences and software development, he said. Similarly, the Council would like to see more Hungarian companies start up a business in the United States.
Economic ties between Hungary and the US are strong and no political force can change this, Stewart said.
