Hungary’s industrial producer prices up 4.1 pc yr/yr in September
Industrial producer prices went up by an annual 4.1 percent in September, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said on Tuesday.
Prices for domestic sales were up by 4.8 percent while export prices rose by 3.7 percent.
In a month-on-month comparison, industrial producer prices were up by 1.3 percent as domestic prices were up by 0.9 percent while export prices were up by 1.5 percent, KSH said.
Year-on-year, factory gate prices in the manufacturing sector rose by 4.2 percent in September. Prices of the transport equipment segment were up by 4.2 percent, and prices in the computer, electronic and optical products segment were down by 1.4 percent. Prices in the food, beverages and tobacco segment were up by 4.5 percent. Prices in the gas, electricity and steam supply segment rose by 2.6 percent.
In January-September 2017, industrial producer prices rose by an annual 3 percent as domestic prices climbed by 4.9 percent and export prices were up by 2.1 percent.
KSH will publish October PPI data on November 30.
