Important change: Budapest’s party tram to commute on a modified route
Trams nr 4, 6 and 17 will circulate on a shortened route in downtown Budapest, the Hungarian capital’s transport company (BKK) told the Hungarian News Agency (MTI). The trams concerned do not touch North Buda from Saturday 6 AM until Sunday midnight.
According to Telex, trams nr 4 and 6 will commute only between Újbuda-központ/Móricz Zsigmond körtér and the Jászai Mari Square stations. Between the Nyugati railway station and Széll Kálmán Square stations, you may use tram replacement buses. Furthermore, between Sunday midnight and Monday 4 AM, tram replacement buses will carry the passengers of tram nr 6 between the aforementioned stations. Meanwhile, tram nr 17 will only commute between Savoya Park and Széll Kálmán Square stations.
