Shocking: Ukrainian border guards allegedly assaulted a man in Hungarian territory

The alleged pursuit and assault of a man by Ukrainian border guards on Hungarian territory, as he tried to evade conscription, has caused outrage on social media, reported the Ukrainian Strana portal and the Hungarian press.
Border incident near a Hungarian village
A young man known as a human trafficker posted a video report on Telegram claiming that his client was caught by authorities from Ukraine near a Hungarian village and was then brutally assaulted. According to his account, the man was kicked in a cellar, suffering broken ribs, but is currently with his wife and receiving medical treatment.
On his social media, the man stated: “I do not understand why the border guards crossed the Hungarian border illegally. The guy suffered broken ribs as several of them hit and kicked him.”

According to the Strana report, in recent months there have been regular reports that the Ukrainian border guards are pursuing those trying to evade military conscription not only within their own country but also on foreign soil — including Hungary and Poland.
