Jobbik warns of criminals entering Hungary among migrants

Jobbik migration

Budapest (MTI) – The “so-called refugees” entering Hungary include plenty of criminals and the refugee shelters are full of “unidentifiable elements”, radical nationalist Jobbik lawmaker Daniel Karpat said on Friday.

Addressing the parliamentary debate on economic migration, he stressed the need to re-establish the Border Guard, and no longer operate open or semi-open refugee shelters in towns and villages.

Karpat warned all not to equate Hungarian refugees in 1956, ethnic Hungarians in Transcarpathia and political refugees with criminals.

“Those who are really persecuted should be protected,” he said.
