transport

You can see the newly renovated section of the tram road, varosban.blog.hu says .

It is seen that the finishing touches are being put on the renewable track between Nagy Lajos Király utca/Czobor utca and Ecseri út. The grass-covered section is on the Kőrösi Csoma Sándor út, it has only been seen on abroad so far, among others in Hannover, where the trams came to Budapest from, when outermost tram circuit ring of Budapest was established. According to the blog, this grassy road can be familiar mostly from Dresden.

Officialy, this method is not supported in Budapest because the ambulance has to use the tram rails during the peak hours, so it would be impossible on the route of the 4-6 trams. But there will be no problem on the Kőrösi Csoma Sándor út, allegedly, varosban.blog.hu says.

Besides the grassing, a bunch of renovations have been carried out since November 2013 and the result will be that the passengers will be able to travel more comfortably and faster. The edges of the stations were raised to 26cm uniformly, so boarding to the low-floor trams will be easier. Traffic is expected to restart on the sections of Zugló and Kőbánya this week.
