Minister of Economy and Energy István Kapitány has recalled Adrienn Berta from her positions as CEO of Hungarian Export-Import Bank (Eximbank) and Hungarian Export Credit Insurance Company (MEHIB), the minister said in a post on social media on Monday.
Kapitany announced the launch of probes of the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA), the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) and Magyar Eximbank on June 12, the Hungarian News Agency wrote.
At that time the minister said the probes will focus on the legal framework for the institutions, their operation and their financial management. Steps affecting their structure and operation, as well as efficiency-boosting measures, will be taken as a result, he added.
