Hungary needs love and peace; it needs to bury the trenches, and a leadership that “doesn’t pretend to be rural and family-friendly, or Christian, but works every day in the interest of the Hungarian people,” Péter Magyar, who heads the Tisza Party’s list for the European parliamentary elections, said in Debrecen on Sunday.
Speaking at a gathering in the city centre, Magyar said “this is the largest political demonstration of the past decades”.
After marking Mothers’ Day, Magyar pledged that the party would double the family allowance if it received the mandate to govern.
Magyar, who also serves as deputy leader of the Tisza (Tisztelet és Szabadság, Respect and Freedom) party, said Hungary had received 40 thousand billion forints in European Union funding so far, and insisted that a significant portion of that money was in “private equity, yachts, castles, hotels, Bordeaux vineyards and offshore accounts.” He said Hungary was being operated as a “family company” which his party would dismantle if they came to power.
Ukraine war: pro-peace and peace talks
Regarding the Russia-Ukraine war, Magyar said the party was pro-peace and stood for peace talks as soon as possible.
The European parliamentary and local elections in June would be “a watershed moment”, and would be decided between the ruling Fidesz party and Tisza, Magyar said. “Those voting for Fidesz in 2024 would vote for the threat of war and war agitation, and those voting for Tisza will vote for peace, the future, and the safety and happinness of our children and grandchildren,” he said.

Regarding the issue of battery manufacturing plants in Hungary, Magyar said the plants were putting people and the environment at risk, and had been built after “the dismantling of oversight institutions.” Should his party come to power, they will restore the environmental ministry and strengthen the authorities in question, and tighten laws and oversight, as well as ensure that the localities should benefit from the financial profit of the investments, he said.
Magyar also said his party had garnered the recommendations to set up a list in “almost every county”.

WHAT has the Orban – Fidesz Government – after 14 years – DELIVERED us as a country to being today ???
The MESS – Economically and Financially, the Infrastructure of our country, we are / have been individually in our MILLIONS delivered to this WORSENING disaster being FELT throughout Hungary, in Cities, Towns, Villages and Hamlets, by the HUMONGOUS failings, the Wrongful Policies of the Orban / Varga “plans” – that HAVE failed and SMASHED us.
Orban – his Fidesz Government continue ON in there ERADICATION, there Distillation of DEMOCRACY in Hungary.
Orban – his Fidesz Government continue to build on the BASTARDIZATION of Hungary – us being “sold off” or “traded off” – sold out – in deals, mainly “under the table deals” – that the BIG Winners, are those of POWER, position, influence in the Oligarch – the “inner sanctum” of the Orban – Fidesz Government – in DEALS – with Russia and China.
The “Crushing” of the practice – DEMOCRACY, under the Laws of Membership of the European Union, in the “Creeds” of what DEMOCRACY it represents – the on-going dismantling of DEMOCRACY, replacing it, through ongoing RELATIONSHIPS and Partnership – with Russia and China, that will see us, this country of 9.6 million, an ageing decreasing population, being AGAIN reversed and GOVERNED under a Dictatorship – that will be a Communistic Government.
That’s the DIRECTION we are being FORCEFULLY taken – DRIVEN by the Orban – Fidesz Government.
Orban – his Fidesz Government – just on statistical European Union Membership country’s RANKING – we Hungary are RANKED 26th of the 27 membership country’s – that FORCES – the pressurization on us Hungary, we could sooner than later, be BOTTOM ranked.
Disgraceful and HUMILIATING – should be the dominating Personal feeling of Hungarians.

In the Cities, Towns, Villages and the Hamlets of Hungary – it MUST somehow be of GARGANTUAN driven Power & Force – the MESSAGE – of WHAT, the Wrongfulness – the ABUSIVE that has been practiced in the 14 years of the Orban – Fidesz Government, the SELFISHNESS – being the “takers” of the cream atop the cake, and the “left-overs” to the rest of us, the “meek and poor” in our millions – spread out throughout Hungary.
Hungary – we have been FAILED.

Education, Public Services, Hospitals and associated Services – the NEEDS of the General Public, that we pay our TAXES for Service Provision – just to name “few” of the WHY Governments are appointed, and there RESPONSIBILITIES to SERVE provide for Us, the tax payers.
Orban – Fidesz Government – have FAILED us.
