Budapest, January 4 (MTI) – The Ministry of Human Resources plans consultations on separating clinics from medical schools, daily Magyar Nemzet said on Saturday quoting unnamed sources.
The paper said the plans to separate clinics from the schools had been reported in the past, but most recently, the Association of University Clinics (EKSZ), which represents four medical schools, stated that the separation could be risky and threaten the quality of training for doctors.
The ministry press department told Magyar Nemzet that the state secretaries for health and higher education would hold consultations with the affected universities in the near future.
