Before the “big match”, they met two types of fans around the stadium. One of them came together with his family and talked about the role of Pal Dardai, to the question “How does you expect the battle against the Greeks”.
A middle-aged man from the aforementioned group, who is a coach of a kids club and came here with his disciples, said he hoped a good result and Dardai would be able to start the change.
A father of three said he believed in the group and Dardai. He thinks the coach brought professionalism from Germany and could be the savior of the Hungarian football.
Another group of supporters approached the match from a different point of view.
A DAC-fan said he was a little disappointed. So far, they had come by several buses, but now one car was hardly full. They showed solidarity with the protesters against fan card. He thought it was strange that as a Slovak citizen from Dunaszerdahely, he did not require this card, but his Hungarian relatives did.
A little tipsy fan from Eger complained about the mood. He said the stadium is not a theater.
In the stadium, a person responsible for mood called the audience with a megaphone to cross their fingers, shortly before the start.
