MOL Launches Department At Miskolc University

Budapest, June 12 (MTI) – Hungarian oil and gas company MOL and Miskolc University will jointly launch a separate department at the technical faculty this month, the university told MTI on Thursday.

The faculty will focus on training oil engineers to an international standard and support the English-language MSc studies of earth sciences students specialising in hydrocarbons from 2015.

The department has one hundred students, and an increasing number of them come from countries rich in oil, such as Brazil, Kazakhstan and Kurdistan.

MOL signed a three-year strategic cooperation agreement with the university last year, the statement said.
