Even more celebrities to come to the FINA Artistic Swimming World Series 2018 in Budapest
Svetlana Kolesnichenko, the best Russian synchronic swimmer, is going to come to Budapest for theĀ FINA Artistic Swimming World Series 2018 between the 18th and 20th of May, as origo.hu reports.
Competitions and celebrities
As we previously reported, Budapest has the honour to be one of the locations hosting theĀ FINA Artistic Swimming World Series 2018. The tournament will take place in the Hungarian capital between the 18th and 20th of May, right before theĀ National Junior Championship.
We have also written about top celebrities coming to the 16th FINA Artistic Swimming World Series.Ā According to MSZUSZĀ (Hungarian Artistic Swimming Association), visitors of the event will be able to see some well-known competitors. The Russian team, for example, won a gold medal, but the Spanish performance is also unmissable, among others.
The Russian swimmers
Currently, there is an addition to the celebrities, namelyĀ Svetlana Kolesnichenko. She is the best artistic swimmer in Russia afterĀ Svetlana Romashina taking a break due to her baby’s arrival andĀ Natalia Ischenko retiring. There are high expectations for Kolesnichenko because of Russia’s monocracy in this branch of sport. She has alreadyĀ won a gold medal in Rio, she is a four-time European Championship winner, and is a 14-time world champion. Out of the 14 victories, she collected four at theĀ FINA Artistic Swimming World Series 2017. Her self-confident yet beautiful moves are the keys for her outstanding performance. Her two solo and two duet gold medals only confirm her unbelievable talent. An interesting fact is that her partner during the duet performance is going to beĀ Varvara Subbotina. Even though she was born in 2001 so she is very young, many people refer to her as one of the greatest talents.
