Museum of Agriculture to move from Budapest

Budapest’s Museum of Agriculture will be moved to Gödöllő, on the outskirts of Budapest, to the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, by 2029, the minister of culture and innovation said on Tuesday.
Balázs Hankó said that the Gödöllő university will, together with the museum and its library, “offer opportunities for further development, benefitting Hungarian culture, agriculture, and university education.”
Relocating the museum from Budapest’s Vajdahunyad Castle in City Park to Gödöllő will be supervised by Ministerial Commissioner László L. Simon.
Currently, there is no information on the museum‘s official website that the current location will close and move outside Budapest. If we receive additional information, we will update the article accordingly.
