New Budapest app launched: buy tickets and save money with it!

You can buy tickets to museums, cinemas, spas, beaches and soon to the Budapest Zoo with a discount through the ÉnBudapestem (MyBudapest) app. The newly debuted application lures users with a 20 percent discount.

Tickets to museums, cinemas, spas, beaches and soon the Zoo will also be available at a discount through the ÉnBudapestem app, Budapest Brand Nonprofit Zrt. informed MTI.

The app focuses on the current programmes of the capital. It offers discounts to the residents of the capital mainly in cultural, sports and tourist institutions owned by the Municipality of Budapest, napi.hu reports.

Those who register can buy tickets at a 20 percent discount to the Budapest History Museum, screenings at Budapest Art Cinemas, performances at Trafó. There is also a discount on tickets to the Szabó Ervin Library in Budapest.

From 5 June, users of the app will be able to access some of the capital’s spas and beaches at a discount. Soon, they will also be able to buy tickets to the Budapest Zoo at a reduced price.

The ÉnBudapestem app debuted as part of a series of events celebrating the 150th anniversary of Budapest, napi.hu explains. The app and the online card, which offer permanent discounts, are available free of charge to all users during the anniversary year.
