Former government office chief János Lázár was elected head of the Hungarian Tennis Association (MTSZ) at the organisation’s Monday assembly.
The lawmaker of ruling Fidesz was elected unanimously as the only contender for the post.
Vasas Sport Club head László Markovits was elected deputy head.
Lazar was elected after five MTSZ board members resigned earlier this year.
No doubt the other opposition parties will cry foul about the selection just like they do over everything else. The Hungarian opposition parties are nothing but a bunch of crybabies.
