The innovation and technology ministry has launched a website, diplomantul.hu, showing data on the careers of graduates after tertiary education with a view to providing insight for students about to choose a profession, a government official said on Saturday.
The website is built on anonymous data of 138,000 graduates and shows how they fared after university, including average salary, ratio of those finding work where they studied, average length of time before finding employment and foreign experience.
The data is searchable by university, subject, degree and time of graduation.
State Secretary Tamás Schanda of the innovation and technology ministry told a press conference that the website used anonymous information from the national education office, the tax authority, the health insurance authority, the finance ministry and the centre for student debt.
