Twenty-four patients died of a Covid-related illness in the past 24 hours, while 2,548 new coronavirus infections were registered, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Friday.Â
So far 5,935,182 people have received a first jab, while 5,714,861 have been fully vaccinated. Fully 1,082,000 Hungarians have received a booster jab.
The number of active infections stands at 19,491, while hospitals are treating 1,233 Covid patients, 169 of whom need respiratory assistance.
Since the first outbreak, 843,825 infections have been registered, while fatalities have risen to 30,492. Fully 793,842 people have made a recovery.
There are 17,984 people in official quarantine, while 7,236,933 tests have been officially carried out.
