Held on the picturesque Etyek farm, the event was not only one of the highlights of Hungary’s polo season but also a vibrant social gathering that blended elegance, gastronomy, and international flair.
La Estancia Polo Club – A Legacy of Excellence
Founded in 1998 by the Zimmermann family, La Estancia Polo Club began as a private retreat and has since evolved into one of Hungary’s most prestigious polo destinations. The family has a long tradition of organizing and participating in high-end international polo events in India, the USA, South Africa, Switzerland, Czechia, Italy, Germany, Austria, and Poland.
The Etyek estate features two polo fields, indoor and outdoor stables, a soccer field, and paddocks for 30 Argentine horses. The entire operation is fully sustainable, maintaining a strong commitment to quality, animal welfare, and safety.

Oktoberfest Polo Cup 2025 – Where sport meets style
The Oktoberfest Polo Cup 2025 proved once again why it stands among Hungary’s most elegant social and sporting events. A friendly polo match, lively entertainment, and Bavarian-style hospitality created an unforgettable autumn day at La Estancia.
The event welcomed over 200 guests, including ambassadors from Germany, Sudan, Romania, Croatia, Finland, Russia, Portugal, Thailand, Türkiye and Argentina.
The Saarer Tanzgruppe brought music and traditional dance to the field, while Claudia Bias Design’s charming animal sculptures added a touch of artistic flair.

In keeping with the Oktoberfest theme, Urban Canteen provided a rich selection of culinary delights: Weisswurst with radish and sweet mustard, Leberkäse and Brezeln, the Hungarian favourite lángos with cheese and sour cream, and desserts such as Berliner doughnuts with jam and the Argentine sweet Franui, which became a crowd favourite.
