Orbán cabinet: Kyiv’s actively supporting actions aimed at ruining the reputation of the Hungarian government

The Hungarian government “will protect the country from any external attempt at influencing because for us, nothing that comes before the national interest,” Levente Magyar, a state secretary at the foreign ministry, said in a Facebook video on Tuesday.
Magyar said “the consecutive nationalist governments in Kyiv drastically restricted the rights of Transcarpathian Hungarians to use their mother tongue”. The Hungarian government, however, decided to “set differences of opinion aside and come to Kyiv’s help”, he said, adding that Hungary had opened up its borders to refugees from Ukraine, and launched a humanitarian action “and rebuilt … kindergartens and schools in Ukraine.” The government launched programmes for the refugees staying in Hungary and “helping them from every aspect and promoting their integration,” he added. “We want to see the war and human suffering ending as soon as possible, therefore we shaped our humanitarian assistance policy to serve that end,” the state secretary said.
“After all that … Kyiv’s actively financing and supporting actions aimed at ruining the reputation of the Hungarian government … cannot be interpreted in any other way than a stab in the back,” Magyar said. “It is obvious that such a drastic interference with Hungary’s domestic affairs cannot be left without a firm response. My current visit to Kyiv is aimed to get an explanation from Ukraine’s leadership and in lack of an answer raise the possibility of Hungary’s reactions,” Magyar said. “This is about Hungary’s reputation. Good relations with Ukraine continue to stay in Hungary’s interest, but Ukraine … must restore the rights of the Hungarian minority in Transylvania, and Kyiv must without delay stop all activities aimed at the Hungarian government,” Magyar said.

Reputation. As a blackmailer? Our Politicians have used Hungary´s veto power to block many EU decisions – more than anyone else. Happy to take EU funds, though – “Our Money!”.
Seriously though. Hungary has numerous border crossings:

However … We host less than 40´000 Ukrainian refugees. They apparently prefer to go elsewhere. We are a transit country:

Fidesz doesn’t need Kyiv to ruin its’ reputation. It does this on its’ own on a daily basis.
I’m really sorry about Trianon. It was unfair like a lot of things in Hungarian history.
Can someone explain this though?
