PM Orbán talks about armed Tisza politician Ruszin-Szendi; Péter Magyar fights back with bullet wound story

Change language:
Weapons, violence and “armed speakers” have no place in Hungarian public life, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said on Facebook on Tuesday, commenting on a video recording showing Tisza defence expert Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi appearing at a forum, with the outline of a firearm visible under his clothing. Péter Magyar fought back with the Hungarian defence minister’s “bullet wound” story.

“I have been in parliament for 35 years, but I don’t remember anyone holding a town hall meeting with a weapon at his side…” Orbán said. “Is this possible? It seems it is, with Tisza.”
