PM Orbán urgently responds to the brutal physical attack on the prime minister

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has wished Andrej Babis a speedy recovery after the former Czech Prime Minister was hit several times with a crutch at a campaign event in the north Moravian town of Dobre.
Andrej Babis was attacked
Former Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis was attacked yesterday, September 1, 2025, during an election rally in the town of Dobra in eastern Czech Republic. He was struck in the head multiple times with a metallic forearm crutch by a man estimated to be between 50 and 60 years old. The attacker was immediately detained by police at the scene.
Babis was taken to a local hospital, where he underwent a head CT scan and was subsequently released. It is unclear whether he sustained serious injuries. Following the attack, he cancelled his campaign program as doctors recommended rest.
The incident has been widely condemned by Czech political leaders, including Prime Minister Petr Fiala and Interior Minister Vit Rakusan, who emphasized that violence has no place in politics. Babis’s party, ANO, blamed the attack on a “hate campaign” by rival political parties, which they say created a climate of animosity contributing to the assault. The event is being investigated as disorderly conduct or hooliganism.
The attack occurred in the lead-up to parliamentary elections scheduled for October 3-4, 2025.
Orbán’s comment on the attack against Babis
“First Slovakia, and now violence has seeped into Czech politics,” Orbán wrote on X on Monday.
“No wonder. His political adversaries demonised Andrej Babis for years. This is the result. But they will not stop him. He will go on and win the elections! Get well soon, my friend!”

Orban says Babis’ political opponenets “demonized him for years”. Demonizing your political opponents is something Orban or any other Fidesz politician could never in a million years ever do – Right?
Notice how it’s ALWAYS the Leftist cockroaches attacking conservative politicians these days?
Off the top of my head: Trump, Bolsonaro, Fico, Farage, Uribe Turbay, now Babis.
Enough is enough. Time to turn the tables a little!
Engaging in a little opponent demonization? “Cockroaches”?
