Budapest, November 27 (MTI) – Next week parliament will hold three debates on subjects initiated by the government, the Socialist opposition and the Jobbik party.
On Monday the week’s session will start with a question and answer session. Then a government-mandated debate will be held on the use of European Union funding in the 2014-2020 financial framework. The seven-hour debate proposed by Deputy Prime Minister Zsolt Semjén will serve as the cabinet’s biannual report on progress on the design, implementation and monitoring of Brussels tenders.
On Tuesday lawmakers will discuss the state of public education to be followed by a debate on the issue of men’s retirement after 40 years of working, at Jobbik’s request.
Parliament holds debates on any subject that enjoys the support of 40 deputies or one fifth of all members of parliament.
