PHOTOS: Hungarian bronze on the wheelchair fencing world championships in Washington
Ambassador Szabolcs Takács visited the Hungarian team at the first IWAS Wheelchair Fencing World Championships in Washington.
Zsuzsanna Krajnyák won the bronze medal in the women’s foil “A” category. In the same category, Éva Hajmási finished in 5th place, after a close fight with Zsuzsa in the top 8.
István Tarjányi also finished in 5th place in the men’s sabre category “B” and Boglárka MezÅ‘ finished in 13th place in the women’s foil competition category “B”. The competition closed yesterday with the team competition, hopefully with other great results for our national team, the Embassy of Hungary in Washington wrote in a Facebook post. Congratulations!
