PHOTOS, VIDEO: This 4-star luxury Balaton hotel is opening soon
The four-star superior hotel, the Sirius Hotel Keszthely, will open soon. The luxury hotel is named after the brightest star in the sky. Their press release revealed that 140 people are currently working to ensure that the hotel opens on schedule on 1 May.
The design and construction of the hotel started in 2020, Travelo reports. The complex is a greenfield project. The quantity of materials and finished surfaces used in its construction is as follows:
- 7,500 cubic metres of concrete, 1,000 tonnes of reinforcing steel,
- 21,000 square metres of painted surface and 3,000 square metres of wallpapered surface,
- 610 square metres of wooden cladding,
- 10,000 square metres of cold tiling and nearly 4,700 square metres of hot tiling,
- 2,200 square metres of glass façade surface, 1,160 square metres of façade glass,
- 56 km of mechanical wiring, 300 km of electrical wiring.
Director Dávid Bihari underscored that the 11,052-square-metre hotel has 14,500 square metres of green space. He added that a total of 28,000 flowers, shrubs and perennial trees have been planted in the garden. The hotel was designed with special attention to the preservation of natural values.
The Hotel Sirius in Keszthely offers 128 hotel rooms, 159 parking spaces, a 1,500-square-metre spa & wellness area with indoor and outdoor pools, restaurant and bar, an impressive panoramic view, and a section for events and conferences, Travelo writes.
