Prime minister meets new US ambassador
Budapest, March 17 (MTI) – Prime Minister Viktor Orban met Colleen Bell, the new US ambassador, in Parliament on Tuesday afternoon, Orban’s press chief told MTI.
Orban and the ambassador discussed prospects of developing bilateral ties, as well as challenges faced by Europe and the conflict in Ukraine, Bertalan Havasi said.
They also discussed Hungary’s energy security situation, he said.
The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.
Colleen Bell took up her post as US ambassador to Hungary in January.
