Are they really the most beautiful Hungarian women in 2017?

According to origo.hu, the annual Miss World Hungary competition will be held on the 18^th of June. The most beautiful Hungarian woman of the year will be chosen to represent our country in the world final of Miss World in China. Let’s see who this year’s contestants are.

They are said to be the most beautiful Hungarian girls, but, as we all know beauty is subjective. Some people like short black-haired girls, others like tall blonde girls, other people like hourglass figures, while others are in love with slim girls. But there’s nothing wrong with this: diversity makes the world beautiful. So maybe we shouldn’t say that they are the 20 most beautiful Hungarian women, but 20 beautiful women, instead 🙂

This is going to be the fourth time that Miss World Hungary (Magyarország Szépe ~ The Beauty of Hungary) is held on the public service channels. The woman chosen as the most beautiful will be crowned in the frameworks of a gigantic live show. She will be the one to represent Hungary at the world final of the competition at the end of the year in China.

At a press conference, Kata Sarka, the managing director of Magyarország Szépe said that they chose the 20 most beautiful girls out of hundreds of candidates. The girls are currently in a preparation camp in Sárvár, where they can get ready in a nice and peaceful environment.

The camp includes four little competitions – Miss Beauty Face, Miss Bikini, Miss Sport and Miss Talent – after which one-one girl gets eliminated, so only 16 girls will be competing for the crown in the live show.

The live show will include four rounds. Besides the well-known bikini round, the girls will also walk the runway in Péter Merő’s evening-dresses and national dresses, and there’s also going to be a creative tour inspired by the FINA World Aquatics Championships. The contestants will be wearing the creations of Hungarian fashion designers who entered the “Water and Victory” tender.

The runner-ups of the winner Miss World Hungary will be the owners of the Miss Earth Hungary and Top Model of the World Hungary titles. They will be chosen by the jury, but there’s also going to be an audience vote. This year a mobile application was also launched, so that we can stay updated and vote for our favourites.

One of the most significant missions of the winner of Miss World Hungary is to attract attention to the importance of social responsibility: the winner will have to represent a chosen charity case at the world competition.
