Record high temperature in Hungary – Photo Gallery
The thermometer indicated 18.7 C early on Sunday in Sándorfalva, in southern Hungary, the highest temperature ever measured in the country on April 29, the national weather service reported.

The previous record for the day was 17.4 C, read in 1966.
The hot weather is expected to continue.

Highs: 24, 30 C
