On 15 May, Hévíz will welcome the grand opening of Le Primore Hotel & SPA, Hungary’s newest and largest premium-category spa hotel. With a total investment of HUF 34 billion (EUR 84 million), this five-star superior hotel sets a new benchmark in Hungary and across Europe for exclusive destination tourism.

The uniquely designed hotel is located directly adjacent to a nature reserve on a 3.4-hectare site that was previously used illegally as a waste dump. During construction, 45,000 cubic meters of industrial waste were removed in collaboration with environmental protection authorities. Sustainability is also a priority in the hotel’s operations, with a focus on renewable energy, minimising plastic use, and recycling waste.

The six-story hotel features 285 rooms and suites, including penthouses on the top floor, a rooftop restaurant and bar, and a striking infinity pool. With accommodations for more than 600 guests, the hotel has already received 190 bookings ahead of its opening—most from Hungary but also from Austria. Looking ahead, Le Primore aims to attract guests primarily from Hungary as well as neighbouring countries, including Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.

One of the highlights of the Le Primore Hotel & SPA is its vast, 11,000-square-meter spa complex, which features thermal water sourced from its own well in Hévíz. The water is used in medicinal pools of varying temperatures. Alongside adventure and children’s pools, guests can enjoy three distinct sauna worlds, Balinese spa treatments, a hammam, and private and child-friendly spa experiences. A separate sauna area for women, along with a state-of-the-art fitness and yoga centre, further enhances the experience.
