Hungarian MOL to boost its crude oil deliveries to Serbia

Hungarian oil and gas company MOL will further boost its deliveries of crude to Serbia in December, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said after a meeting with Dubravka Dedovic, the Serbian energy minister, in Belgrade on Wednesday.
In a statement issued by his ministry, Szijjártó said MOL had doubled its deliveres of crude and crude products to Serbia in November and would supply two-and-a-half times as much from December. “MOL is boosting its deliveries so Serbia won’t have a problem with its fuel supply,” he added.
Szijjártó said Hungary would make every effort, politically and legally, to prevent the shutdown of more delivery routes in the framework of Brussels’ REPowerEU initiative while preparing for the construction of a crude pipeline between Hungary and Serbia.
