Super cute giraffe baby born in the Debrecen Zoo – PHOTO GALLERY
Femina.hu reports that a very cute reticulated giraffe calf was born in the Debrecen Zoo on 22 November. The 2-week-old giraffe can already be seen in the zoo, to the great joy of the visitors, who have already flooded the Facebook page of the Debrecen Zoo, Botanical Garden and Nagyerdei Amusement Park with adorable messages.
From the relationship of Emma and Szilveszter, 2 giraffes of the Debrecen Zoo, an extremely cute baby giraffe was born on 22 November. The period of gestation lasting for 450 days is exceptionally risky for the giraffes, as can be read on the Facebook page of the zoo.
Emma, the mother, who has experienced the maternal joy of giving birth to a small creature before, does not intend to nurture her small one. Therefore, animal care workers take care of the newborn baby.
The 2-week-old vigorous calf can already be seen by visitors. With its birth, the number of reticulated giraffes increased to 165 specimens. In Hungary, reticulated giraffes can only be seen in Debrecen, where they live in Nagyerdő in the framework of the European protection program since 2006.
The zoo shared some photos on Facebook to the great joy of the fans, who have already flooded the social website with adorable comments. Some people mentioned how cute the little giraffe is, while others welcomed the newborn baby to the world.
