Sweet Summer Days! – Let’s create your own Magnum in Budapest!

On 31st May, Magnum Pleasure Store Budapest opened its doors to ice cream lovers who can create their own Magnum speciality from a great variety of ingredients provided.

Magnum was the first premium ice cream brand, established in 1989. Its popularity expanded so remarkably that nowadays, more than 1 billion Magnum ice creams are sold on a yearly basis. Its uniqueness can be tasted in the crunchy chocolate cover and the continuously renewing flavour combinations.

This summer, an extra service has become available to sweet-toothed fans, as Magnum Pleasure Store Budapest opened its doors on 31st May. Guests can create their own Magnum ice cream from a great variety of dressings and sweet decorations.

The concept was created in Paris in 2012. This summer, Budapest is the only Central European city where a Magnum Pleasure Store can be experienced.

As szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu describes, the service costs 1290 HUF and some „hard” decisions in order to create the best flavour combination. The basic Madagascar Sweet Vanilla can be covered with several types of chocolate coatings including white, milk and dark chocolate, which can be decorated with three types of nuts out of the 13 available options, and finally, three types of dressings to enhance the enjoyment.

Recently, the wide range of flavours includes coconut chips, cranberries, freeze-dried raspberries, freeze-dried strawberries, peanuts, apple cubes, candied orange peels, caramelised peanuts, chocolate jelly beans, chocolate chips, biscuits, chocolate cereal balls and cinnamon sugar; and other renewals can be expected during the summer. Above all, our “masterpiece” cannot miss the most important element – Magnum chocolate disc on top.

No worries if you are not a confectioner type of person: customers need to decide which ingredients should be included, while the preparation process is only eye-witnessed by the guest. Our single task is to post and enjoy the sweet experience.

Magnum Pleasure Store Budapest can be found in Allee Shopping Mall between 31st May and 30th September. From Monday to Saturday, it is open 11:00 – 21:00; and on Sundays, it is open 11:00 – 19:00.
