Hot Hungarian weather: two men have offended public peace by going to the streets naked
Recently two people have offended public peace by going to the streets naked. The picture in the post shows one man completely naked, casually running among the other runners on Margit-Sziget (Margaret Island). The eyewitness said he shouted that:
“I love myself! Thank you all!”
Origo found an eyewitness, who posted the incident to Facebook. The post says the following, commenting on the funny situation:
“For 20 years, I have been running on Margaret Island several times a week. I always love every moment of it, and every single time (!) it offers a wonderful experience – mainly natural wonders – that impresses me, that makes me wonder why I do not spend my whole day there ?! Well, nothing remotely similar has happened to me before. At first, I only heard the loud shout, “I love myself! Thank you all!”, which I thought, beyond the apparent foolishness, what a nice guy; he might be through a long process of being comfortable with himself, and he even thanks others. Then I saw Him. I think I can be grateful to fate again, that he approached from behind.”
And one of Ripost’s readers took pictures of another naked man walking down Margit körút (Margaret boulevard) and then doing jumping jacks on Margit híd (Margaret bridge) as well. According to the site, the traffic seemed to stop at the unusual sight, and the man was later arrested at Széna tér (Hay square) by the police.

Every Picture Tells a Story ///
Picturesque Budapest certainly not a city, where one size fits all, but never afraid to show or exhibit it’s hidden talents and humanistic artistical beauty.
