Three jailbirds with one stone; Hungarian Police in action – VIDEO
The Police Headquarters in Érd, Hungary, managed to catch three criminals in one fell swoop on a busy morning: a vengeful ex-husband who tried to murder his wife with a method out of movies, a man wanted for vigilantism, and a young man due to begin his sentence.
According to Police.hu, the first destination of the policemen was Ercsib in Fejér County to arrest a 54-year-old man, whose relations with his ex-wife did not improve even after their divorce. It is said that the man took revenge for their past arguments and quarrels, and his hatred led him to try and murder his ex-wife.
On January 19, 2021, he cut the brake pipe of his ex-wife’s car, and three days later, he scratched the paint job, then proceeded to cut off the valves on the tires.
It was mainly due to luck that while driving, the woman noticed that the brake-power of her car was lost and was able to avoid an accident. She later repaired the brake pipe. The act, which endangered the woman’s life and caused significant damage to the car, cost the perpetrator HUF 700,000 (€1,900) in damages.
When the policemen arrived, the perpetrator tried to escape through the back door of his house as seen in the video. Following the arrest of the 54-year-old man, during the house search, the police found a screwdriver and pliers which were linked to the crime. During his interrogation, he partially confessed his crimes, but he denied that he cut the brake pipes of his ex-wife’s car.
He is detained, and under the well-founded suspicion of vandalism and endangering the woman and other partakers of traffic, the police have initiated his arrest.
A few days ago, the Hungarian Police managed to bust an enormous stash of drugs in Budapest.
The second target of the police was a man in Százhalombatta, János V., a 56-year-old man who was issued an arrest warrant by the Prison Service of the Budapest District Court for failing to comply and start his service for committing vigilantism.
Finally, the police arrived at a house in Érd as the Prison Service of the Budapest District Court ordered the arrest of a convict. After arresting the 26-year-old man, he was able to begin his custodial sentence.
