Trend change on Hungary’s fuel market from Friday!
In the last few weeks, the price of gasoline and diesel decreased in Hungary due to their lessening on the world market. However, now the trend seems to change.
The government decided to abolish the price cap on petrol earlier this month. As a result, even private Hungarian car owners with a Hungarian license plate must pay the so-called market price for the fuel. The last time the price of gasoline grew in Hungary was on 4 November, based on holtankoljak.hu. Meanwhile, in the case of diesel, the previous significant increase was on 14 October.
From Friday, we will have to pay HUF 639 (EUR 1.59) for 1 l of gasoline and HUF 713 (EUR 1.78) for diesel.
Holtankoljak.hu said nothing about what they expect for 2023.
