TripAdvisor Finds Best Price-Value Ratio In Budapest
(MTI) – Budapest has retained its position of a city offering the best price-value ratio in the world, according to a recent survey by travel website TripAdvisor released on Tuesday.
For the second time this year, the portal surveyed the world’s major tourist destinations, and ranked them by scores in 16 categories, based on feedback from a total 54,000 respondents.
In the price-value ratio category Budapest was followed by Lisbon and Hanoi.
Tokyo was first in five categories, such as the friendliest locals, best taxi services, cleanest streets, best public transport and best overall impression.
As for other cities, New York has the best restaurants and night life, Rome has the most beautiful sights and highest culture, and Dubai is considered best for its shopping opportunities and its hotels.
