Two light aircraft collided and crashed near Krems Airport in Lower Austria on Monday morning, killing both pilots, according to local police.

The glider had already detached from the towing aircraft shortly before the accident. The pilot of the aircraft then turned, after which the two ultralight planes collided.
The glider itself was not involved in the crash.
