VIDEO: Shocking footage of truck driving against traffic on Hungarian motorway

A driver drove his truck against traffic on the M0 motorway on Sunday afternoon, RTL Híradó reported. It was only a matter of centimetres before he collided with other cars.

According to RTL, the truck spent 10-12 minutes on the wrong side of the motorway, driving outside and inside lanes and on the hard shoulder. It travelled at least 7-8 kilometres before a road inspector could stop it. Motorists kept flashing their lights at him, trying to signal him, to no avail.

The ambulance spokesman said that the Polish driver, aged in his 60s, who was driving the truck, was ill, but paramedics did not have to intervene at the scene. However, the man was taken to hospital due to confusion and health complaints.
