Volgograd bomb attacks: Hungary condemns
Budapest, December 30 (MTI) – Hungary deeply condemns the acts of terrorism committed in the southern Russian city of Volgograd on Sunday and Monday, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement sent to MTI.
“There is no explanation for the terrorist attacks. What happened once again underlined the need for close international cooperation in fighting against terrorism that endangers peace and security all over the world,” it said.
Expressing sympathy with the victims’ relatives, the ministry said that “Hungary condemns all forms of terrorism, and has a deep commitment to protecting human life and international peace.”
Successive attacks carried out by suspected suicide bombers killed at least 31 people on the railway station and a trolleybus in the city.
